We’re a Detroit live event production and promotion company. We make nights that bring people together — and we sweat every detail so they feel effortless.
Our story
J3 began with a simple conviction: our community deserves premium entertainment, produced with care, close to home.
So we built it. Our first major production, Jokes, Jazz & Jams, put comedy, jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and gospel on one stage at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre — and more than 5,000 people came to the riverfront for Father’s Day.
What we learned filling that amphitheatre turned out to be exactly what a private celebration needs too: the right talent, a plan for every minute, and real attention to how guests feel. Three months later we were at Cliff Bell’s, producing an 80th birthday.
Today J3 Productions is both things — a concert promoter and a full-service event planning and production company. Music, humor, and hospitality, at whatever scale the occasion calls for.
